At least one of Justin Bieber's legal issues is being put to rest.
"The Hollywood Reporter" says the pop star has reached a settlement in a lawsuit filed against him by a former bodyguard last year.
Moshe Benabou sued Justin last January for assault and battery, after an incident that took place in October 2012. The singer allegedly attacked Benabou backstage at a concert after a confrontation. The bodyguard also claims Justin unfairly fired him after the incident. He asked for overtime wages as well as unspecified damages for the assault in his lawsuit.
The details of their settlement have been kept private. Justin will no longer have to attend the trial previously scheduled for February 18th, freeing him up for the February 14th court date set for his DUI arrest in Miami.
